Oso is an environmentally friendly outdoor clothing and supplies brand that I created for a branding project. This project required creating a logo, brochure, stationary, and mockup products. Oso would be based out of North Carolina and its consumer base would include hikers, climbers, and other outdoor activities.
Above on the left are my sketches for the icon or mark that would be included in my logo, these were done in Procreate. I wanted the logo to include a bear illustration and decided on the design with flowers and leaves in the design to connect even more with nature and the outdoors. On the right are my sketches for my logo type options. Since I decided to go with an icon logo, it made sense to keep the type simple and clean. The final type resembles the top right sketch the most. I then found a similar type to this sketch and finalized the design.
This is my tri-fold brochure mocked up. I used the blue gradient background to highlight the Blue Ridge Mountains as a theme for the brand. This brochure includes the company's mission, impact, and products.
Here are the various stationery items I designed for this project. I continued to use the blue gradient. On the letterhead, I brought in some yellow to create a sky illusion.
Lastly, these are my product mockups for a paper bag, a puffer jacket/coat, a reusable water bottle, and a crewneck sweatshirt. For my product mockups, I added a slight gradient to create more depth in the mountain range illustration.
