To explore long-format projects, I created an events calendar for The Kennedy Center’s fall events. This project focused on style sheets (character and paragraph), formatting attributes in InDesign, defining a grid, typographic hierarchy, font pairings, combining images and text, content organization, and flow.
My events calendar includes the genres: dance, theater, opera, and orchestra; and the events in the calendar are taken directly from the Kennedy Center website. In order to match the Kennedy Center's brand, I utilized their brand logo and typefaces while incorporating my own creative choices to create a cohesive, fun, and legible calendar design.
